Three years after the outbreak began, China is still strictly restricting the movement of people by means of strict lockdown. Every day, different cities are being locked down in the news. In 2022, I quit my job and planned to travel and start my photography project, but I couldn't leave my city due to the strict lockdown restrictions. When I was stuck in my own city and suffering from a chronic political depression, I felt extremely depressed. Then, on the days I couldn't travel, I tried to maintain a positive mental state by walking. These days, I tentatively call it "the Long vacation," and this series, like a diary, records my emotional state.
